Olive's Ocean
This week I read Olive's Ocean written by Kevin Hankes. This book was extremely well written. This book is about a girl named Martha who just had her world turned upside down when a girl from her class dies. She wasn't friends with this girl but she knew that she could have been. Martha's whole family goes to visit their grandmother and Martha learns a lot about who she is and who she can be. This book was one of my favorite books and i would definitely recommend it. It is about 220 pages and is written in the third person.
That sounds like the kind of book I have been trying to find but have never been able to. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good book. Reminds me a little of Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick.
ReplyDeleteThe plot doesn't sound super interesting, but since you recommend it so highly I will probably read it
ReplyDeleteI agree with Theo but i am going to add it to my TBR list

ReplyDeleteTHIS BOOK IS SOOOO GOOD. It's really interesting, even though the plotline sounds simple they make it really interesting. It's also really sad too.
